Reiki practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to your body, improving the flow and balance of your energy to support healing. Reiki treatments typically last about 60 minutes. We will discuss your concerns and areas you would like me to focus. During a session, you'll lie on a massage table fully clothed, as I gently place hands, palms down, on or just above your body in specific energy locations. After the treatment we will discuss your treatment and I will answer any questions you have.

Community Room

How is community acupuncture different from full-body acupuncture? It is done in a group setting. There are four chairs in the room. Fewer needles are used. It is less than half the normal price. Needles are placed on the extremities (legs, arms, hands, feet and possibly the head).

Sometimes we need to replenish our spiritual reserves or elevate and balance our being. A sound bath is like a massage for the mind. This practice is a deeply meditative, healing journey where you will experience an orchestration of sound that may include quartz crystal singing bowls, with notes aligned to the body’s energy system, gong, chime, and other instruments that will activate the parasympathetic nervous system. A sound bath can sometimes shift the brain wave states into Theta or even Delta. In this dreamlike state, time is paused, and brain wave patterns can shift to be more receptive to inspiration, and stress relief allowing for the natural healing of the body, mind, and soul. At the end of this experience, you can expect to enjoy a sense of deep rest and relaxation.

The heating technology developed by Sunlighten is one of a kind. Each wavelength requires
a different complex equation involving surface size, surface temperature and material.
Sunlighten’s 3 in 1 heaters allow for all three wavelengths (near, mid and far) to be recreated
in one place. The six pre-set programs direct the heaters to emit the optimal blend of
infrared wavelengths – based on 56 data points from 37 studies of how infrared interacts with
the body – to achieve the desired result.
This is customizable full spectrum infrared optimized to give you the best result for your
wellness journey.
The tablet inside your sauna allows you to select a pre-set health program or custom
set your own:
CARDIO
• 45 min
• Near, Mid and Far Infrared
• Starts at a high intensity to increase heart rate and cardiac output, then lowers to sustain
heart rate level. Circulation increases to promote healthy blood pressure.
DETOXIFICATION
• 37 min
• Mid and Far Infrared
• Starts at a high intensity to increase the body’s core temperature, then reduces to a lower
intensity level. Mid and far infrared combination improves vascular access flow to reach
toxicants at the cellular level.
PAIN RELIEF
• 30 min
• Near, Mid and Far Infrared
• A far and mid infrared blend provides natural pain relief by reducing inflammation and
swelling while near infrared penetrates the tissue promoting cellular repair at a medium,
constant intensity level.
RELAXATION
• 40 min
• Near, Mid and Far Infrared
• Far, mid, and near infrared combination induces deep relaxation as it relieves muscle
tension at a low, comfortable intensity, promoting overall stress reduction.
WEIGHT LOSS
• 30 min
• Mid and Far Infrared
• Starts at high intensity to stimulate the cardiovascular system, then reduces to medium
level. As the body works to cool itself, heart rate increases cardiac output and metabolic
rate, like aerobic exercise.
ANTI-AGING
• 30 min
• Near, Mid and Far Infrared
• A low, constant intensity level penetrates the body and cells absorb the light energy to help
skin health. Near infrared improves overall skin tone, elasticity and firmness, promoting anti-
aging benefits.
It is important to note: the heater programs, and studies they are based on, are set using
infrared wavelengths - not cabin temperature. Each program will take you through a variety of
heater intensities and cabin temperatures. Do not be alarmed by any unexpected temperature
changes. The efficacy of the program derives from the surface temperatures of the individual
heaters, not the air temperature.

CENTURIES OF SAUNA USE Historically saunas have been used for detoxification for centuries in a variety of cultures: Aboriginal and Native American sweat lodges, Mexican and Guatemalan temazcals, Finnish cultural practice, European steam rooms. Sauna Therapy has long been recommended by practitioners in alternative health circles because of its known power to remove heavy metals and other environmental toxicants, including mold, plastics, and other chemicals that have become part of modern life. Sauna therapy has also been part of many drug rehabilitation programs because of its known help in the detoxification process for certain drugs as well. Today’s clients want to make sure they’re doing all they can to feel good and live as healthy as possible. Heat and sweat alone have been known to be beneficial for a long time. Today’s infrared saunas offer even more benefits to feel good about. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRADITIONAL SAUNAS & INFRARED SAUNAS Traditional saunas use a heat source to heat the air, and often include steam to create humidity as well. Fire and hot rocks were common sources of heat; modern saunas use a heater or steam generator to create the temperature increase. Traditional saunas heat the air to a point that initiates the body’s natural cooling process. This means blood comes to the surface of the skin and opens the pores. Infrared saunas emit lightwaves that penetrate the body to stimulate the health benefits from within at a cellular level.

Highly empathic, I have been able to feel when something is wrong with people near me. At times this has happened with friends or family in other parts of the world when I have not spoken to them. It has even happened with strangers in the same room. Because of my experience with chronic health issues as well as depression and anxiety, I’ve always felt the desire to help others. After several years of learning to trust my intuition for my own life, I’ve learned that I can use this intuition to help guide others to what is in their best and highest interest in life. This desire to help others led me to a Reiki Master who could see that I would be a powerful Reiki Practitioner. I signed up for training with him and completed Reiki I and II in June, 2022 followed by Reiki Master training in January 2024.. With 22 years of experience in patient care, my medical background and Intuitive Reiki together we can balance your chakra system, improve emotional and spiritual well being, as well as physical health. My intuition allows for me to receive messages and symbols to guide me in your healing journey. My wish is for you to find peace (Shanti) and balance (Tula) in your life.
